MID-ATLANTIC LOGISTICS MANAGER 

 

Ryan has been with MSI since 2006, managing the Mid-Atlantic territory of MSI's Red Bull Logistics program and handling events from NYC down to Virginia. Currently based in Philadelphia, Ryan is originally from sunny Portland, Maine where he was a deckhand for Casco Bay Lines and the drummer for Sidecar Radio (Labor Day Records). Ryan also works national events for MSI- having been involved with all four 2008 Red Bull Soap Box races in the US, as well as the US stops of the Red Bull Air Race (2008, 2009), and the US Open of Snowboarding in Stratton, VT (2009). At the 2009 San Diego Air Race, Ryan was the National Temporary Runway Site Manager. On the east coast, Ryan has worked such high profile Red Bull brand-building events as Snow Scrapers, Art of Can (Philly '07, DC '09), Manny Mania, Buttercup, and Block to Block.

 

Ryan has a B.A in English with a concentration in writing from Goucher College (Baltimore) and his master's in writing studies from Saint Joseph's University (Philadelphia). Work has been published in N'East (national), City Paper (Philadelphia), The Phoenix (Portland), among other publications.

An avid awesome dude, Ryno enjoys playing music, writing, the beach, and exploring the vast Philly wilderness with his sister's dog, Dugan. Ryan lives his life based on a simple code- never trust anyone who chooses to be grammatically correct over having a good time.
